The new "Account Login" feature facilitates customer service and testing.

A new “Account Login” feature has been added to the AI Commerce control panel, allowing merchants to jump directly to the customer's online store account with a single click. This enhances customer service, speeds up testing, and replaces the old Customer Master Password feature.

The feature automatically creates a one-time, five-second valid login token and opens a new window where the user is logged in as an administrator on the customer's account. This allows for a smooth and secure transition without passwords.

Use cases:

• Customer Service: Checking orders, deliveries, and other account information from the customer's perspective.

• Sales Support: Adding products to the cart or going through the payment process showing it to the customer.

• Testing: Ensuring feature functionality on the customer account without needing to separately request login credentials.

The system recognizes that this is an administrator's use on the customer account, which will also facilitate the use of broader editing tools in the future.

We recommend all AI Commerce merchants to adopt this feature, as the Customer Master Password feature will soon be completely phased out.
