Posti is Finland's leading logistics and parcel service provider, serving both consumers and business customers. Posti's SmartShip system enables multi-channel shipment management, printable address labels, and real-time tracking.

Installation and deployment
Create a Posti SmartShip account
Create an account for your company at https://smartship.posti.fi if you do not already have credentials. Posti offers widely scalable contract solutions for online stores.
Obtain API keys
From the account management, you can create SmartShip API keys (Client ID and Client Secret). These enable a connection between the AI Commerce platform and Posti's system.
Enter the API keys into the AI Commerce online store
Go to MyStore management in the AI Commerce online store and enter the Posti Client ID and Client Secret keys into the shipping service settings.
Select shipping methods and settings
Choose which Posti shipping methods you want to activate (e.g., Home Package, Post Package, Express Package) and define any potential shipping costs and terms.
Cash on Delivery
Cash on Delivery (COD) allows customers to pay for their orders upon receipt of the package or at the time of pickup. This payment method can enhance trust and improve conversion rates, especially for new or uncertain customers.

How to enable Cash on Delivery in AI Commerce
Verify bank details
Open Configuration > MyStore and enter the Store Bank Account and Store Bank SWIFT fields. Cash on Delivery payments will be settled to this information.
Activate Cash on Delivery as a payment method
Go to Modules > Order Total, select “Cash On Delivery” and set it to “Enabled”.
Set COD Fee (excluding VAT)
Define Sort Order, e.g., 6
Configure detailed settings
Enable Module: True
Payment Zone: Select region
Maximum Order Value: 0 (no upper limit)
Set Order Status: Received
Blocked Shipment Modules: specify shipping methods where COD is not available
Payment Provider / Name / Logo / Description / Conditions: customize to fit your brand
Test and publish
Place a test order and ensure that the payment method works as expected at checkout before publishing.
