Improvement
Jun 2, 2025
We have made a significant improvement to the AWS infrastructure behind AI Commerce: all our services are now distributed across different availability zones, and no single data center is a critical point anymore. This means significantly better fault tolerance and availability for your online stores.
Under normal circumstances, customer requests are automatically distributed across various centers. If one of them loses connection (for example, due to a network issue), AWS automatically routes the requests to another center – without the user having to do anything.
Thanks to this update, the potential impact on the online store's operation is limited to a maximum of a 60-second disruption for those customers whose traffic was routed through the center experiencing the issue. All critical services have already been distributed across different cities, and now other services have also been moved to different physical centers.
Multi-minute outages in a single data center are extremely rare and do not occur annually. A simultaneous outage across all centers is practically a non-existent risk. This update provides significant additional security for AI Commerce customers and further strengthens the reliability of the platform.
