The AI Commerce session handling logic has been refined. The system no longer opens a new session for search engine bots or other identified bot traffic as easily as before.
This change improves the reliability of analytics and may result in a seemingly lower visitor count as unnecessary sessions are excluded. However, actual user statistics and conversion rates will now more accurately reflect true customer behavior.
The update particularly helps in situations where bot traffic has distorted the ratio of conversions to sessions in reporting, thus improving the interpretability of marketing measures.
