The delivery method logic of AI Commerce has received a new regulation that allows the merchant to force the delivery method to be visible at checkout and on the delivery methods page.
By default, the system only shows delivery methods that are compatible with the customer's session (e.g., weight, dimensions, delivery country, or type of customer account). This is important so that the customer does not see options that cannot be used.
However, with the new regulation, you can override these rules: when the settings for the delivery method specify "Force Display in Method List: true", that delivery method will be displayed in the listing even if it does not meet all the criteria.
This is useful, for instance, when you want to showcase options before the customer makes a precise selection or to test new delivery methods.
