Selection products now support options enriched with product variants.

AI Commerce has expanded the functionality of option products. Moving forward, option products will support both stocked product variants and non-stock options using the same logic as simple products.

The customer sees the selections clearly as checkboxes, and options that affect the price are automatically added or deducted. The selections are displayed in product descriptions, bundle compositions, and order confirmations.

If there is only one option available, it is automatically added to the shopping cart – just like in simple products. In addition, the stock balance of options is updated based on the selections, and lower prices can be linked to package deals. However, separate discounts cannot be set for variants.
