An option for the weight factor used has been added to the delivery methods.

A new option has been added to the AI Commerce platform's shipping method modules, allowing users to define which weight value should be used in determining shipping limits. The selection is made in Modules > Shipping Modules, and it particularly applies to situations where the product's 'weight' and 'cargo weight' differ from each other.

For instance, if a product actually weighs 1 kg, but its cargo weight is 10 kg due to volume, the system will now default to using the larger value ('max'). In this case, the shipping limit—such as maximum weight—automatically considers the higher option.

This clarification helps particularly in scenarios where the logistics partner prices shipments based on volumetric weight. The change allows for more realistic and cost-appropriate shipping calculations, as well as reducing erroneous shipping options.
