The availability of freight methods can now be determined by customer types.

The visibility of shipping methods can now be controlled based on the customer type using the same logic as with payment methods. In the settings, it can be selected whether the shipping method is visible to private customers, businesses, or only to admins.

This allows for a more precise delivery policy and, for example, offering bulk deliveries only to business customers. The merchant can thus customize delivery options according to the customer segment without other users seeing unsuitable options for them.

As with payment methods, sole proprietors ("tmi") are also classified as private customers according to the practices of payment partners. We recommend checking the settings if segment-specific deliveries are in use.
