The original developer of AI Commerce Cloud began as a full-time online merchant, experiencing first-hand the challenges of disconnected tools, manual processes, and inefficient workflows. This deep practical understanding shaped a product that has always been customer-first, designed to solve real-world problems through automation.

In 2022, we made a strategic decision to completely replatform AI Commerce Cloud. The new architecture, launched in 2023, embraces modular, scalable composable commerce principles. It was a self-funded multi-year investment, built with the support of generative AI throughout the development process.

AI helped us compare technology options, accelerate development with modern tools, and eliminate communication bottlenecks often seen in large software teams. This unique combination of compact expertise and AI support enables us to move significantly faster than traditional models.
