Using the customer card is now even easier thanks to automatic pickup point lookup. The system automatically fetches pickup points from Posti, Matkahuolto, and Schenker based on the customer’s postal code. If results are found, a dropdown list is shown where the user can select the desired pickup point. Once selected, the “Pickup Location ID” and “Pickup Location Name” fields are filled in automatically.
If the user wants to search pickup points from another area, they can temporarily change the postal code and run the search again. If the search cannot be performed or no pickup points are found, the dropdown is hidden and a clear message is shown: “No pickup points found.”
This improvement saves time, reduces address-related errors, and improves customer experience — empty dropdowns no longer need to be cleared manually. Automatic field filling also ensures consistency across the order process.
