Overview
We are preparing the next AI Commerce Cloud admin experience. The migration will be phased to ensure a smooth transition.
Migration Phases
In the first phase, the old and new admin panels will be available side by side.
Existing old-admin pages remain available during the migration. If something is missing or not yet working in the new admin panel, admins can continue using the old one while those issues are resolved.
Once the new admin panel is fully ready — currently estimated for this summer — old admin support will be phased out and the new panel will become the primary experience.
Authentication Changes
Admin authentication is moving to an AWS-hosted security layer that protects the admin panel before anyone can interact with it. The old admin login page will be removed at a later stage.
After the migration, every admin user will have one week to activate two-factor authentication. After that, 2FA will be required for all users, including super admins and non-super admins.
Supported authentication methods will include Face ID, fingerprint ID, authenticator apps, email authentication, and possibly SMS authentication codes.
Security Reminder
Never share your password or two-factor authentication codes. If anyone asks for them, treat it as suspicious and contact AI Commerce Cloud support immediately.
