The built-in review system in AI Commerce Cloud has been upgraded with automation: you can now automatically send review requests to registered customers a set number of days after an order. This helps increase review volume, builds trust, and provides valuable product feedback.
How it works:
The review request is sent automatically after the configured delay (e.g. 5 days).
Setting is available at: Admin panel → My Store → Reviews Reminder Date (0 = disabled).
The email includes a direct link to the purchased product.
The link uses a secure token so the customer can leave a review without logging in.
Only registered users can submit reviews. All reviews are marked with a Verified Purchase label.
Available tools for merchants:
Rating criteria management: Add, edit, or remove criteria with star ratings in Reviews → Ratings.
Moderation: View, approve, edit, or reply to reviews directly in the admin panel.
Automatic average calculation: Approved reviews update product ratings and review counts in real time.
Best practices:
Recommended delay: 5–7 days to ensure the product has likely arrived.
Include a friendly message and a clear CTA in the email.
Test the feature with a test purchase to verify email and token functionality.
Highlight the best review quotes in product descriptions for marketing impact.
