Custom Instructions now mandatory — clearer input fields in UI and receipts

The previous free-form “Custom Options” field has been replaced with dedicated, clearly labeled Custom Instructions fields. These appear as separate elements in the storefront UI, admin panel, and on printed receipts.

If Custom Instructions are enabled for a product, the customer must provide a comment before the item can be added to the cart. This improves communication between the buyer and the fulfillment team in scenarios where product configuration or delivery instructions are essential for order accuracy.

The system enforces this requirement on a product-by-product basis. If the feature is not enabled, the comment field remains optional. If needed, the logic can be further refined in collaboration with your development partner to meet any store-specific requirements.

This update enhances clarity, reduces errors, and ensures critical information is captured consistently throughout the order process.
