When a store uses account approval for price visibility, an automatic email is sent to the customer once the merchant updates the Customer Type field to any status other than “Not Selected.” This means that the customer’s account must be approved to access prices.
If the store uses automatic business customer approval or enforces business-only accounts, there is no need to manually define customers as business users. In this case, the activation email is sent automatically once the account type is set.
