Overview
Data Exchange is a new centralized workspace for imports and exports. Users can see import and export profiles, run jobs, review history, and edit supported profiles from one place.
Configurable Profiles
Profiles allow users to choose which fields or attributes should be included in an export. For example, a merchant can create a profile for a specific external system and include only the headers required by that system.
Preview Mode
Imports and exports include a preview mode so users can see how many rows would be created, updated, deleted, or exported before running the job.
Background Processing
Imports run as background jobs instead of long browser requests. Large jobs no longer need to complete within a browser session. Users can track progress, errors, processed row counts, and estimated completion time from the Data Exchange workspace.
