The decision is based on phpList’s lack of robust GDPR support, declining deliverability, and the absence of modern automation features compared to contemporary solutions.
What does this mean?
phpList will no longer be available as a newsletter solution managed by AI Commerce Cloud starting June 1, 2025. If you currently use phpList for sending newsletters, we recommend migrating to an alternative service no later than May.
Recommended alternatives for email marketing:
CreaMailer: Finnish service with unlimited sends and native integration with AI Commerce Cloud.
Klaviyo: Advanced segmentation and automation capabilities, ideal for eCommerce.
MailChimp: Well-known, versatile option with flexible starter plans.
Mailjet: Easy setup and competitive pricing, even for large volumes.
Actions for customers:
Export your subscriber lists from phpList in CSV format before June 1, 2025.
If lists are not explicitly deleted, we can restore them from backups within one year (until June 1, 2026).
