Customers can now provide various visual or text-based materials to clarify their orders and help ensure that all required information is accurate and complete. Each attachment is limited to 10 MB per file; increasing this limit is possible in collaboration with a partner, although it is generally not recommended for security reasons.
Security is enhanced through a dedicated virus scan performed in an isolated data container, keeping core functions protected and minimizing malware risks. Files uploaded under the Attachments section are easily accessible from the order overview in the admin panel and can be forwarded to the ERP system, ensuring comprehensive order documentation throughout the entire process.
This feature is not enabled by default for all stores; activation requires a minor modification to the Checkout file and potentially adding any missing components. It is also recommended to review order summary formatting and attachment section numbering during the update.
This enhancement significantly simplifies and speeds up the order process, but it is still advised to keep file sizes reasonable to maintain storage efficiency and ensure security.
