AI Commerce now includes usage limits and pay-as-you-go pricing for product description automation
AI-generated product descriptions are now governed by monthly usage limits and clear pay-as-you-go pricing. By default, each store can generate or improve up to 10 product descriptions per month. When the monthly limit is exceeded, AI Commerce blocks additional requests and shows a clear error message, preventing unexpected overuse.
For stores that need higher volume, additional requests can be enabled and billed at €0.95 per product description. Partners can help clients define a suitable monthly limit based on catalog size, change frequency, and internal approval capacity. Usage is tracked per store and will be surfaced in reporting in a future update.
This model provides predictable adoption for B2B catalogs: you can start with a pilot, validate quality and sources, then scale up in a controlled way. It also aligns costs with value—teams pay only when the feature is actively used and producing measurable content improvements.
