Overview
AI Commerce Cloud now allows merchants to limit specific shipping methods to chosen customer groups. Within the shipping-method editor, users have access to a searchable picker for selecting eligible groups.
Customers who are not assigned to any of the selected groups, including guest users, will not see or be able to select the restricted shipping method at checkout. The platform enforces these limitations by rejecting any direct attempts to use unavailable shipping methods.
If no groups are selected for a shipping method, it remains available to all customers as before.
