SKU-specific pricing using Price List rules enables setting different fixed prices for different customer groups. This feature is especially useful when you want to offer specific list prices to different customer segments, such as resellers or business customers, without defining separate prices for each individual customer.
How to manage SKU-specific pricing
Admin panel: Edit SKU-specific prices by navigating to Admin Panel → Customers → Customer Groups → Select group → Pricing → List.
Bulk updates: Use import/export functions to update prices for multiple products at once. This is convenient when several customer groups require the same price.
Competing pricing structures: Remember to update competing pricing models (e.g., contract prices) as needed to avoid conflicts between different pricing strategies.
Managing Price List discounts via CSV
Create or select a Price List: Start by choosing the desired price list discount.
Export the CSV template: Save and edit the file using UTF-8 encoding.
CSV columns: Key columns include customer_group_id, product_sku, rule_price, valid_from, and valid_to.
This approach ensures flexible and efficient pricing management, ultimately improving the customer experience.
