The online store calculates the unit price paid by the customer based on quantity discounts and displays it clearly on the product lines. The pricing logic also considers the customer's choice of whether prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of tax. This provides precise information to customers and reduces uncertainty associated with purchasing.
Managing Quantity Discounts for E-commerce Retailers
AI Commerce now enables the management of product quantity discounts in a tiered structure. Retailers can create discount groups and specify the following details:
• Quantity: How many units need to be purchased for the discount to activate.
• Discount Percentage: The percentage discount offered at that level.
Quantity discount management is conducted on the Products > Products Volume Discounts page. Once discount groups are created, retailers can designate on a product card which discount group the product uses.

The customer's shopping cart clearly shows the unit price according to the quantity discount and the total price, making the buying experience seamless and appealing.
