AI Commerce has updated the presentation of shipping costs in the shopping cart to comply with EU directives. The previously used default notice “Shipping costs 0€” has now been removed, and the shipping costs are shown only after the customer selects a delivery method at checkout.

The purpose is to prevent misunderstandings where a customer assumes delivery is automatically free. If there is a promotion where delivery is free, it will still be clearly displayed in the shopping cart with a separate notice.

This enhances transparency and customer satisfaction, while reducing unnecessary support requests and interrupted orders due to ambiguity in shipping costs.
