AI Commerce Cloud translations now include glossary support, giving merchants greater control over the consistency of multilingual product data and content.
Key details:
Per-language glossaries – Configure glossaries directly on the language page. Each glossary is tied to the target language.
Simple format – Enter translation pairs as a comma-separated list (e.g., tack = thanks for Swedish, or kiitos = thank you for English).
Default behavior – Finnish is used for translations unless another target language is set.
Field limit – The glossary field allows up to 5000 characters, preventing excessive load during builds, since the glossary is attached to every translation request.
Keep in mind: even short glossaries increase the AI prompt size and may affect translation costs.
This feature is especially useful for ensuring brand names, product terms, and domain-specific language remain consistent across all translations.
