Point of Sale now supports creating quotes

The Point of Sale in AI Commerce Cloud now includes full support for creating quotes directly from the checkout process.

If a customer in your local shop is not ready to confirm their purchase immediately, you can convert the in-progress order into a quote instead of finalizing it.

How it works:

• At the bottom of the POS page, click the “Quote” button instead of “Order.”

• The system redirects you to the quote edit page, where you can review and finalize the details.

• From there, you may also send the quote to the customer by email, giving them the option to confirm later.

This feature gives merchants greater flexibility in handling in-store customer interactions, reducing lost opportunities and aligning POS workflows with the existing quote management system.
