Previously, blocking a customer account only prevented that customer from logging in. If the shop allowed checkout without registration, the same person could still place an order by continuing as a guest. From now on, checkout also validates the shopper’s email and phone number against the blacklist before an order is created. This means blocked customers cannot bypass the restriction by skipping login or making small formatting changes: phone numbers are matched by digits only, and email addresses are matched in a normalized form. Store owners gain a consistent, centralized way to stop repeat abusers, reduce fraud and unpaid orders, and keep customer service workload lower.
