New
AI Commerce Cloud now includes a powerful new capability for B2B commerce: Company Hierarchies. This feature allows each client company to be modelled as an organization with multiple user roles and granular access controls.
Organizations can include roles such as:
Admins: Manage users, permissions, and payment methods
Orderers: Place orders on behalf of the company
Viewers: Access prices, product information, and order history without ordering rights
Key business benefits:
Centralized visibility: Decision-makers gain a full overview of all orders across their organization.
Self-service management: Most user and access settings can be handled by the company itself, reducing manual work for store administrators.
Payment method control: Restrict allowed payment types (e.g., invoice-only) at the organization level.
ERP compatibility: Organization structures can be integrated with ERP systems in tailored projects, enabling company-specific pricing, discounts, and rules to sync seamlessly between systems.
This enhancement equips AI Commerce Cloud with enterprise-grade B2B capabilities while maintaining flexibility and ease of use.
