AI Commerce Cloud has expanded its pricing capabilities with step-based discounts, complementing existing volume-based and add-on price discount models.

Step discounts allow merchants to define fixed unit prices at specific quantity thresholds. For example, a product can be priced at one level for quantities of 2, another for 5, and another for 10—each with a hard-coded price that does not fluctuate with base price changes.

This model is ideal for contract-driven B2B pricing, negotiated deals, and predictable procurement scenarios where absolute price points must remain stable regardless of future pricing updates.
