Overview
AI Commerce return handling now gives teams a more complete workspace for processing customer returns.
Operators can look up an order by order number or tracking code, review returnable line items, see already-returned quantities, choose a return reason, set a refund percentage per line, optionally restore stock, apply a return fee, and notify the customer by email.
What Happens When a Return Is Processed
When the return is processed, AI Commerce records refund and return-fee lines, recalculates order totals, updates the order to returned status, and writes the reason and refund detail into order history.
This makes return handling clearer for support and keeps the financial trail visible on the order.
