Overview
AI Commerce now supports native electronic order cancellation from the customer's own account pages. This update relates to consumer protection law changes requiring that contracts made online can be cancelled easily and electronically.
How It Works
Customers see a Cancel button on orders that are still eligible for cancellation. When the customer confirms the cancellation, the order moves to cancelled status and the event is recorded in the order history.
Cancellation Rules
Cancellation is allowed only in safe early-stage statuses such as received, awaiting payment, and awaiting approval. Orders that have already been shipped, returned, cancelled, or are far along in processing cannot be cancelled with this button.
