A new automated nightly background check has been introduced to improve payment reliability for Paytrail transactions.
Each night, the system retrieves all Paytrail payments created within the past 24 hours and verifies that each payment has a corresponding order in AI Commerce Cloud. If a paid payment is found without a matching order, the merchant is notified by email and prompted to manually create the order and investigate the cause.
This safeguard helps ensure customers do not remain waiting for orders that were successfully paid but never created due to rare third-party issues, such as bank or Paytrail disruptions. Due to the external nature of these systems, such cases cannot be fully prevented, but they can now be detected proactively.
