To activate the small order surcharge, navigate to Modules > Order Total > Install module, select “Small Order Surcharge,” and click Install Module. After installation, define the sort order — typically, the small order surcharge is placed next to shipping costs, before the order total and tax calculations
Additionally, configure:
Order value threshold: the minimum order value before the surcharge is applied.
Surcharge amount and tax class (usually the standard VAT rate).
Display the surcharge at checkout by setting the display option to true.
After enabling, verify at checkout that the surcharge and tax amounts are shown correctly. We recommend recalculating order totals and tax values to ensure accuracy.
