We’ve introduced a new workflow for handling quotes created from the point of sale (POS). When a quote is generated for a client who does not yet have a registered account, the system automatically creates a customer account with a temporary customer type.
The client can access the account through the customer link provided. Once the quote is accepted, the system sends an email with login details for the temporary account, allowing the customer to continue their journey seamlessly.
To ensure compliance with GDPR regulations, temporary accounts exist only while the quote remains in the accepted state. Afterward, the account is either converted into a standard customer account or removed if no longer needed, preventing unnecessary retention of personal data.
This update streamlines POS quoting, improves customer onboarding, and ensures privacy protection by design.
