Default category display on Product Edit Page in AI Commerce Cloud

We’ve introduced a new feature that shows the default category of a product directly on the Product Edit page in the Admin panel. The default category is displayed in the Product Stats tab, next to Location and Product Price.

Key details:

• Default category usage: This category defines the breadcrumb path and acts as the product’s home category.

• SEO benefits: A fixed breadcrumb ensures stronger and more consistent search engine optimization when a product has a single default category.

• Automatic determination: The system automatically selects the category with the lowest sort ID as the default category.

This update improves transparency for merchants, ensuring they always know which category is driving breadcrumb structure and SEO relevance for their products.
